Our standard size awls are available in three different materials, becote, cocobolo, or wenge haft.  Each awl is beautifully shaped and finished by hand. Replaceable blade is secured by brass ferrule with one hex screws. Awl blade is made of M390 steel that will maintains its sharpness for extended usage. 

**Do NOT over tighten to avoid stripping screw**

** Awl will be randomly selected, each grain and color is unique**

Very, very nice stitching awl. Very sharp blade and a nice tight blade fit. It is extremely easy to penetrate thick 9 oz veg tanned leather with ease. I would definitely buy one again. I purchased the one made from horn.
