I really like having pristine thread lines and this thing is so much better than the clamps.

I ordered this hammer after growing frustrated with my prior one, which was nicely polished but not sufficiently domed, so it sometimes marked the leather when it simply shouldn’t have. I wish I’d ordered this one from ALS sooner! It has surprising heft for its size, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. And it works perfectly every time, with no irritating marks left behind. Would happily order it again.

This may be the most beautiful hammer that I have ever owned. Well balanced and feels good in your hand. No regrets here at all. Shipping was reasonably fast.

The thread hammer looks and feels amazing. It came in nicely polished and ready to be used, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

It’s a perfect size and at a reasonable price. Glad i bought it. It’s a thread hammer though, and glue up taps only. not a hammer for chisels or pricking irons or any of that sort of hammering.
