Precision Scratch Compass

This wing divider is of premium Quality! It took a bit to get used to… That is there are TWO adjustment wheels. ONE to set the distance, the SECOND on to lock it in place. The previous smaller and CHEAPER divider that I had purchased one of the tines bent too easily and thus wasn’t reliable. This tool makes a PERFECT line and it feels like it will last a lifetime…. I like the precision of being able to mark lines and what not for stitching.

I really like the locking design and the rounded upper edge fits my hand well. I do find the tips to be too sharp/pointy. When I scribe an edge for a stitch line I find that the point on the edge of the leather scratches the edges. Might have to grind down the tips and make them slightly blunted.

The thing is pretty good quality, it’s just almost too small to use.
