The Kiridashi knife is an utility knife widely used in Japan for woodworking, we found it to be very effective in paring/skiving leather. Forged from high speed steel for exceptional quality and performance. Just like a traditional Kiridashi, the blade is beveled on one side to provide thinner edge for extremely fine cuts. It is heat treated to HRC66.

Overall dimension:
Curved handle - 7.25" L, 2.25" cutting width
Straight handle - 7.25" L, 1.75" cutting width

Please note: Each knife is hand cut, grind and sharpen by hand. Every knife is unique in its own way and one-of-kind. Clipped blade tip is intentional to prevent chipping.

Incredible Blade

Ok so this isnt really a stretch i dont think…i literally just split an atom with this thing. Incredibly razor sharp upon delivery. I have been trying to find a knife supplier for my day to day work and I fully expect to be back for several more. 5⭐️

I love the simplicity and quality of this knife. The low profile handle allows skiving at a very shallow angle. I could not believe how extremely sharp this knife came out of the box. I did not need to sharpen at all to begin use. Well worth the $30, and I may end up purchasing the straight handled option as well.

Super tough and Razor sharp.

I have 4 of these knives and they are simply the best leather skiving knives available. Extremely inexpensive and durable. They come razor sharp. Better than knives I've purchased for 5x the amount.
