Precision Scratch Compass

Very precise and quick to set. Makes nice hole on splits too. But points are delicate and proper storage is important.

The precision scratch compass in my opinion sits perfectly in the hand and makes it very comfortable to make precision stitch lines in leather ,I have no complaints at all and I love them artisan is a company I found by accident but I'm so happy to have found them and plan on making more purchases because of the quality of their goods ; thank you artisan for putting out professional quality tools

This wing divider is of premium Quality! It took a bit to get used to… That is there are TWO adjustment wheels. ONE to set the distance, the SECOND on to lock it in place. The previous smaller and CHEAPER divider that I had purchased one of the tines bent too easily and thus wasn’t reliable. This tool makes a PERFECT line and it feels like it will last a lifetime…. Thanks Henry for adding these quality tools to your site! Gordy

I like the precision of being able to mark lines and what not for stitching.

I really like the locking design and the rounded upper edge fits my hand well. I do find the tips to be too sharp/pointy. When I scribe an edge for a stitch line I find that the point on the edge of the leather scratches the edges. Might have to grind down the tips and make them slightly blunted.
