Pen where have you been knife ?

As I learn to cut patterns, I struggle to get a clean cut. Worked my way thru 7 pattern knives, sharpy types wobbled and seemed too puny, so I tried various thick blades and they never held an edge.
Enter Artisan and this Pen Knife. I was able to choose my bevel side, blade and wood. SWEET !
The blade is thick, no wobble and is holding it's very sharp edge, so I just hit a strop and knock out my curves. Which are more symmetrical each day. Being a Newbie I need that flat knife edge against a rulers flat edge sometimes. Plus I need this Pen Knife. As soon as possible I ordered a second one.
I got the B- right bevel with Cocobolo and the C- right bevel with Rosewood.

This is a very fine and sharp tool

I recently bought 2 knives complete with two blades. What can I say? These knives can cut.
I am right handed and ordered the « left » blades because I learn to cut like japanese cut: « bevel to the leather ». So keep that in mind when you select your blades. If you like to cut with the straight edge to the leather you can order as it says on the website.
I highly recommend

Safety

A safety cover is needed for the knife to fit over all blades when mounted in the handle.

Sharp right out of the box!

I am very impressed with this knife. The blade shank is thick and there is NO wobble. The blade is ground to a very sharp edge right out of the package. It is comfortable in the hand and the square handle does keep it from rolling off the bench. I got the curved blade. I love it!

**UPDATE; I still love this knife but it is a single bevel and I am not great at getting a straight angle. I think this is left handed and I am right handed. I would prefer it if when I put it against the straight edge, the flat side contacts the straight edge but on this one the sharp side is on the left, creating an undercut.
