Xiange Polyester shares similar characteristics with Meisi Super fine threads, but made out of 100% polyester. The biggest advantage of polyester threads is that it can be used for both hand stitching or sewing machine. Polyester thread also allows you to heat seal the end of your stitch. Xiange polyester threads are made with the same method of linen threads, 3 polyester filament twisted into round thread, just as luxurious as linen and exceptionally strong.

Available in 3 thicknesses:
#25: 0.45mm
#20: 0.52mm
#15: 0.60mm

Great thread

I need a quality twisted thread option for my leather goods and I think I found a winner. Before this my go to was Tiger braided thread and still use Tiger for that look. To me twisted threads look more refined and that is a look I need for some of my products. Things I've noticed about this thread is that it is drier than Tiger thread. However it is polyester so I am not worried about abrasion issues. If anything it is a good thing because it gives me control. Sometimes I need to avoid wax at the stitch holes so a waterproofing top coat can work better. I have notices that twisted thread will twist up on me during the back stitch. Not a big deal, just have to remember to keep tension on the other side to prevent a tangle. It angles nicely, more than flat threads. Looks thinner and refined like I want. I am feeling confident to sell goods made with this thread and expect my customers to enjoy it too. The sample picture is done with an awl with 5mm spacing (I don't think you can find off the shelf stitching irons with spacing that wide). I am in the middle of another build that uses 1mm thread and didn't want to change my dividers for giving this thread a quick test. So it looks much thinner than it actually is.

I love this thread!

This thread is wonderful to work with, it’s silky smooth yet doesn’t pull apart or frey , I love the bobbin it comes on as it gives you a way to keep the thread from unraveling and the colors are very rich and vibrant
