This stitch groover is the most underrated tool that is quite useful in various ways. The stitch groover is known to create a stitch groove on the leather surface for the thread to sit in. We prefer to do this differently by creating the groove on the flash side instead. This not only allows you to preserve the top grain with same results, it can also be used to create a guiding groove for skiving.
This luxurious groover body is made out of brass and walnut. Each groover is meticulously polished to a high shine. Each groover comes with three different size of blades to match the different iron teeth. All groover blades are made with high carbon steel M390 from Böhler, and heat treated to 61 HRC. Ambidextrous design for both left- and right-hand users.
